UH has filled an important role by providing Ultonians in the New World, in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, the EU, the UK, Ireland and N. Ireland, a source of well-written news and commentary. We offer a refreshing new view of Ulster and her history, inclusive to all Ultonians embracing our shared past with respect and yet not dwelling upon the negatives that all too often dominate Ulster's image. Quite simply UH despite a shoe-string budget is one of the Internet's best sites. And we hope to get even better with your help.

While other heritage websites are foundering, crashing, firing staff, and closing, UH plans to expand. We want to make our site even better by providing you with more and greater coverage of Ulster family and clan history, folkways and culture.
