Submission Invitation - You are invited to submit a synopsis of your Clan/Family along with a couple of graphics for inclusion on these pages. Please use the McCain Clan synopsis as a guide. Your submissions should be forwarded to Barry McCain or Jim McKane for approval.

• Iona Abbey & Clan Donald - Clan MacDhomnaill Galloglaigh “Ard constapla coicidh Uladh” = High Constable of  Ulster to “The O’Neill” Kings for three centuries : 1300-1600.   Incorporating much about the Macdonnell Galloglaigh of Tyrone and Armagh, “Galloglass under the Blackwater”  (also as MacConnells, MacDaniells; includes branch of their “MacEoin” – as MacOwen, MacKeon around Annaghmackeown, Parish of Donaghmore, Dungannon).  MacDonnell’s main seat was NW of O’Neill’s Dungannon just past “O’Donallie” the hereditary Ui Neill Marusgal (Military Marshal). They were part of the Lucht Tighe (Lo-Tie), the ancient Household Guard of O’Neill before the MacDomhnaill Gallowglass took that role.

• MacFarlane - Clan MacFarlane Worldwide - Clan MacFarlane Worldwide was incorporated on July 4th, 2010 in Kansas, USA. The idea itself was born a year earlier almost 2 thousand miles away surrounded by the deep waters of Loch Lomond and in the shadow of Ben Lomond. It was on the island of Inveruglas, a former MacFarlane stronghold, that the founding members put forth their idea of a Society that would embrace all descendants of the clan no matter their current location. A Society that would work to preserve the physical and cultural aspects of Clan MacFarlane. A Society that would build lasting relations with the inhabitants of Arrochar, Tarbet, Ardlui and other ancestral lands.
